Fallbarrow sits on the eastern shore of Windermere on Rayrigg Road, about a seven-minute walk from Bowness village. It is a self-catering park rather than a camping field: you choose between static caravans, lodges (some with hot tubs) and a handful of cottages, with some units looking out over the lake and others tucked under trees.
On site there is a pub and restaurant, a Costa, a convenience store, a launderette, an amusement arcade, a playground and a multi-sports court, with live entertainment on Saturday nights and in the school holidays. Dogs are welcome throughout the park, including in the restaurant. The ground is hilly, and the cottages and Meadows area sit close to the main road, so ask for what suits you when booking.
