Family-run woodland park by the Cromford Canal near Ripley, with hardstanding and grass pitches, barrel pods, a cafe-bar, play areas and a fishing pond.

- Glamping
Golden Valley sits in 26 acres of woodland in Amber Valley, close to the M1 and a short drive from Ripley, Heanor and Alfreton. Touring pitches are on hardstanding, including 24 super pitches with their own electric, water and drain, and another 60 with hook-up. Tents go on grass areas spread through the trees, with and without electric, so the ground is uneven rather than bowling-green flat.
Families are well catered for: three outdoor play areas, a sandpit, an indoor toddler den, a stocked fishing pond and, in peak season, a cafe and bar, live entertainment, train rides and crazy golf. There are two toilet and shower blocks with free hot showers, a laundry and two pot-wash rooms. Ten wooden barrel pods give a no-tent option. No campfires are allowed, and charcoal barbecues must stand on bricks.
