Carsington Fields is a landscaped touring field in the Derbyshire Dales, a short walk from the Carsington Water reservoir and under five miles from the Peak District National Park. It has been run by the same family since 1993 and keeps to a deliberately calm style: a no-noise rule from 10pm, no fires of any kind, and no gazebos.

Pitches are hardstanding or grass, with and without hook-up, for tourers, motorhomes, campervans and some tents. There is a small shop in the office, fresh eggs from the site's hens, pygmy goats and a fenced pond to look at, a big off-lead dog meadow and a bus stop at the gate for Ashbourne and Matlock. Booking is by phone only.
