Lickpenny is a Caravan and Motorhome Club site of 122 touring pitches, 121 of them on hardstanding, laid out among mature trees and rhododendrons on the site of an old plant nursery. Every pitch has 16 amp electric and a few are fully serviced. Non-members can book. It is open all year.
Two centrally heated toilet and shower blocks, laundry rooms, a washing-up area and a children's play area are on site, along with a dog walk. Matlock is about a 20-minute stroll with a bus stop within a mile, and the Peak District, Chatsworth and the Cromford mills are all within easy driving distance.
From the A38 take the A615 towards Matlock for about five miles and turn right onto Lickpenny Lane; the site is on the right.
