A Caravan and Motorhome Club site inside the 165-acre Poolsbrook Country Park, on the site of an old colliery, about 2 miles south of Staveley. The park has lakes for coarse fishing, a play area, a visitor centre and a cafe. Non-members can book.

The Trans-Pennine Trail runs through the park and cycle routes adjoin the site; bikes can be hired through an app. It is handy for the M1 and for the Peak District. Morrisons in Staveley is about a mile away.

The site has a toilet block with family washroom and disabled shower room, laundry, dishwashing area and a late arrivals area with hook-up.
