Fox Hagg is a farm campsite on the western edge of Sheffield, close to the Peak District. It suits people who want to walk out into the Peak or get into the city and back without paying for much more than a pitch.

The facilities are basic but cover what you need: hot showers, toilets, hot water for washing up, hose taps around the site and a chemical toilet disposal point. Caravans, motorhomes and campervans can take an electric hook-up.

Tents are charged per person per night and vans per pitch. Dogs are allowed on a lead. Campfires are not, though raised fire pits and BBQs are fine. Bookings are by phone or email, and the site closes for winter.
