Ingfield Farm Camping
Family-run camping and touring field on a working sheep farm at Ingbirchworth, on the edge of the Peak District, with reservoirs and trails close by.
See all 11 photos- Dogs welcome
Ingfield Farm Camping has been run by the same farming family since 1980. It is a large grass field with electric hook-ups and a water tap at each, on a working farm that also keeps sheep, llamas, alpacas and chickens, in the village of Ingbirchworth near Penistone.
There is a toilet and shower block with disabled access, an outdoor washing-up area and a barrier-controlled entrance. A separate four-pitch paddock can be booked as a block for a family group. The Trans-Pennine Trail and three reservoirs (Ingbirchworth, Royd Moor and Scout Dyke) are close, so it suits walkers, cyclists and anglers.
Dogs are welcome on a lead. Open fires, fire pits and chimineas are not allowed, and groups of young adults are turned away. Booking is online only.
