Newfold Farm is a working farm in Edale in the Peak District, a short walk from the village, its pubs and the start of the Pennine Way. Camping is in traffic-free fields: Grouse is the bigger tent field with the newer heated toilet block, Sparrowhawk is the lower field with the older, more rustic block and twenty hardstanding electric pitches for vans, trailer tents and roof tents, and Lapwing holds the bell tents. Cars park beside the fields, not on them.

The Fold cafe-bar serves breakfast, lunch and weekend evening menus and the Edale General Store stocks basics and local produce. Showers are free. Dogs are welcome for a daily charge, fire pits can be hired, and the site is run as a family campsite with quiet time from 10pm and no party groups. Backpackers on foot pay a low flat rate.
