Buxton is a Caravan and Motorhome Club site of 123 pitches, 118 of them hardstanding, with five camping pitches. Non-members can book. It sits in a valley close to the town, which can be reached on foot, and Pavilion Gardens and the shops and restaurants are there.

The High Peak Trail is about five miles away for cycling, and a walk up Grin Low leads to Solomon's Temple and views over Buxton. There is a late arrivals area with electric hook-up, and site check-in can be done at reception or by number plate recognition.
