Greystones is a small, no-frills field site in the Peak District countryside on the Ashbourne Road, a few miles from Buxton. There are seven non-electric tent pitches, three electric tent pitches and four grass pitches for caravans, motorhomes and campervans, with electric hook-up optional on the touring pitches.

Washing facilities are in a portacabin with a shower (£1 in coins) and toilets, with washing-up outside and disposal points for chemical waste and grey water. Two caravans can be rented by the night. The Monsal and Tissington trails are within reach for walkers and cyclists, and a donkey sanctuary is next door.
