The campsite is next to the Waterloo Inn on Main Street in Biggin-by-Hartington, a farming village in the White Peak. It is mainly a base for walkers and cyclists, with open walking routes from the gate and the Tissington and High Peak trails nearby.
Pitches are on grass and some have electric hook-ups; tents and campervans are welcome, and there are showers and toilets on site. The pub serves food, has real ales and a beer garden with long views, and dogs are welcome. Pitches are booked by phone or email rather than online.
