This is the Forestry England campsite inside Sherwood Pines forest, run by a separate company, Sherwood Pines Camping Ltd. It has around 200 pitches spread through pine woodland: plain grass, grass with electric, gravel hardstandings with power, and fully serviced gravel pitches with water and a grey waste point. A few serviced pitches sit in quieter, semi-private glades. You are given a pitch on arrival rather than reserving a particular one.

For something with a roof there are about fifteen glamping units: new en-suite deluxe pods, family and cosy bothy pods with log burners, and a geodome open April to October. The forest tracks start close to the campsite, and the visitor centre and Go Ape are a short walk away. On site you will find a shop with a coffee machine, family and accessible shower rooms, laundry, lockers, a motorhome service point, a bike wash and a dog wash. Dogs camp free on pitches. Open wood fires are banned, but raised barbecues are fine.
