Camping at Cardewlees is on the Glaister family's farm, a 15-minute walk from Dalston and about 15 minutes from Carlisle, with views to Skiddaw and the northern fells. It opened to campers in 2019 and is open all year.

You can choose ten electric grass pitches, five serviced gravel bays, a large non-electric paddock (which can be hired whole), three insulated pods, or the Dolly Daydream bell tent and an enclosed hot-tub pitch, both with wood-fired hot tubs. Fire pits are included on most pitches, dogs are welcome and there are two pubs in Dalston within walking distance.
