See all 9 photos- Some dogs
Keswick Reach is a lodge park beside the A591 at Bewaldeth, roughly ten miles from both Keswick and Cockermouth. It used to be North Lakes Caravan Park and is now run by Darwin Escapes as a lodge-only resort. Lodges are self-catering with a full kitchen, fridge-freezer, washing machine and private decking, and the Premier lodges add a hot tub. Select lodges are the ones with a view or a quieter spot.
The park has more going on than most lodge sites: the Copper Fells bar and brasserie, a small corner shop, an air-conditioned gym, and the Ammara Spa with an adult-only relaxation suite (sauna, jacuzzi and cold bucket shower). Dogs are allowed in particular lodges for an extra charge and there is a dog wash. Barbecues, fire pits and fireworks are not allowed because of the sensitive National Park setting.
