Linskeldfield Farm Camping

Linskeldfield is a working farm at Isel, just outside Cockermouth, that also runs holiday cottages and three glamping pods. The camping field is described as a Camping and Caravanning Club hideaway site, taking up to five caravans or motorhomes on hard level standings and up to ten tents.

The shower block is new and has underfloor heating, with separate men's and women's toilets and showers and a large accessible toilet with baby changing. There is a games room, a children's play area, a chemical disposal point and recycling. Washing machine and tumble dryer are paid. The farm has kennels and a dog shower for guests with dogs, though the farm's dog information is written for the cottages.

The pitch fee covers two adults and two children, with electric hook-up included if you want it. The three pods, called Teal, Wigeon and Mallard, are bookable through Airbnb or by contacting the farm.
