Skiddaw View is a twenty-acre park on the quiet northern edge of the Lake District, reached down a half-mile lane off the A591 near Bothel. It is a self-catering park: you hire a static caravan or a timber lodge by the week or for a short break, and there are no tent or tourer pitches.

Dogs are a real feature. Some lodges and caravans take pets, and there is a four-acre mown dog walking field with views over the Solway Firth, plus a small agility-style dog play area. There is also a children's playground, a laundry room with local leaflets, and Wi-Fi. Keswick is about 20 minutes away and Cockermouth about 10.
