Coal Beck Caravan Park

A very small park beside Coal Beck, a short way from Bassenthwaite Lake, with eighteen privately owned static caravans, one new two-bedroom caravan that the owners let by the night, and four motorhome pitches. Red squirrels and a good range of birds turn up through the year.

The hire caravan sleeps four, with a king-size en-suite master, a twin room, a sofa bed, a veranda, linen and towels included, and gas and electric in the price. No pets in the caravan. The motorhome pitches are all hardstanding with hook-up included in the price, and there is a toilet and shower block, fresh water and waste disposal. Well-behaved dogs are fine on the pitches, excluding dangerous breeds.
