Sunny Lyn sits in a wooded valley inside Exmoor National Park, with the West Lyn River running along the edge of the park. Lynton is about a kilometre away on foot and Lynmouth harbour a mile, so you can leave the car pitched and walk to pubs and cafes. The camping side is deliberately small: roughly nine electric touring pitches, five electric tent pitches and five without power, plus a few riverside gravel pitches for campervans and motorhomes.

Pitches range from a small hiking pitch (two nights maximum, no parking) to fully serviced gravel hardstandings with water, drainage, TV point and free WiFi. Tents go on the grass fields, which are car-free, with parking alongside. The shower and toilet blocks have been refurbished and are heated, and there is a laundry room, a small shop, and a breakfast cafe at weekends from Good Friday to the end of August and daily in peak school holidays. Guests can fish the West Lyn for free.

Alongside camping the park lets hot tub lodges, an apartment and one- and two-bedroom static caravans, mostly dog friendly. Lodges are open all year; camping, touring and statics close at the end of October. Online prices sit behind the park's booking engine, so check dates there.
