Small, traditional tent field at the edge of Porlock on Exmoor, priced per person, with free hot showers and a twenty-minute walk to the sea.

Sparkhayes is a family-run field right on the edge of Porlock village, so the shops, pubs and cafes are five minutes on foot and the sea is a twenty-minute walk down to Porlock Weir. The South West Coast Path passes close by, with Exmoor behind you. There are sea and hill views from the field.

It is plain, traditional camping: free hot showers, toilets, laundry, a fridge-freezer, drinking water and chemical and waste disposal. Electric hook-ups are a few pounds extra and must be booked ahead, as must the limited caravan pitches. Camp fires and fire pits are banned to protect the grass, but raised barbecues are fine and the owners will lend bricks to lift them off the ground.
