Moor Wood sits on North Hill, a five-minute drive or half-hour walk from Minehead, with the moor and woods starting at the gate and the South West Coast Path close by. It takes tents, campervans and motorhomes on a mix of grass and hardstanding pitches, with electric hook-up on most hardstandings and some grass pitches. Caravans are not accepted. You park next to your pitch.

The facilities are a toilet block with hot showers (no tokens), washing-up sinks, drinking water, chemical and grey waste disposal and recycling. Dogs are welcome on a short lead. Fires and barbecues are allowed if raised off the ground, and the site keeps bricks for that. Roads up the hill are narrow, so follow the site's own directions rather than the sat nav.
