Lynmouth Holiday Retreat sits high on Exmoor, just off the A39 at Barbrook, with views down over Lyn Bay. The camping and touring side is split across several fields: Bay View, Beggars Field, Valley View and Rabbit Field offer grass and hardstanding pitches, mostly with electric, and The View has pitches serviced with water and grey waste. Valley View is non-electric and kept deliberately quiet.
It is run by Coast and Country Parks, so alongside the pitches you also get glamping pods, a stargazer geodome, a safari tent and lodge with hot tubs, and static holiday homes. There is a shared facilities block with an accessible bathroom, a family bathroom and a dishwasher, a small shop, a fenced dog meadow and a dog wash. Fire pits, open fires and gazebos are banned because of the Exmoor setting, but raised barbecues are welcome and bricks are provided. Wi-Fi exists but can be patchy.
