Edgemoor is a very small site: ten pitches for tents and small campervans in a four-acre field that the owners have been re-wilding, with over 600 trees planted so far. Hares, buzzards and pheasants turn up, and there are views across to Exmoor.

The facilities block is handmade from reclaimed materials and has hot showers, compost toilets and washing-up sinks. There is also an insulated, wood-burner-heated cabin with a king bed and bunks for four, with a firepit outside. Bratton Fleming, under a mile away, has a village shop and play park, Barnstaple is a short drive, and the site sits on National Cycle Route 3.
