Seren Bach is a small field behind the Radnor Arms in Llowes, between Hay-on-Wye and Glasbury, looking across to Hay Bluff and the Black Mountains. There are no marked pitches: you drive in, choose a spot and park beside your tent. Campervans are welcome, but there is no electricity and the licence rules out caravans and motorhomes.

Facilities are simple and kept clean: a shower block with two free hot showers and separate male and female toilets, a washing-up sink, water taps and picnic tables. Fire pits can be hired with wood. Four sizes of pre-pitched bell tent sleep from four up to ten, and the whole field can be hired for groups. The Wye Valley Walk passes close by and it is about three miles along the river to Hay.
