See all 5 photos- Dogs welcome
Court Farm campsite is a simple field on the Passmore family's working farm in the Llanthony Valley, in the Black Mountains of Monmouthshire. The ruined Llanthony Priory is on the doorstep and the walking starts straight from the field.
Facilities are deliberately minimal: a drinking water tap and toilets, with no showers. Individuals just turn up and pitch, and the farm collects the money in the morning. Food is at the Priory Hotel's Undercroft bar or the Half Moon pub across the field.
It suits tents and small campervans only. There are no wood fires (charcoal barbecues are fine) and no music, so it stays quiet. Dogs are welcome on a lead around the farm.
- Next to Llanthony Priory ruins
- Two pubs within an easy walk
- Walking in the Black Mountains from the field
- Open all year, no need to book
