Three Castles Country Caravan Park

Three Castles is a small touring park in the Monnow valley, a few minutes from Skenfrith on the Welsh side of the border, between Abergavenny and Monmouth. There are only twelve pitches, all with electric and TV hook-up, a mix of grass with hardstanding wheel runs and mostly or fully hardstanding bays. Six of them are serviced with a water tap and waste-water drain. Tents are welcome as well as caravans and motorhomes.

It is adults only, which keeps things quiet. Dogs are welcome, up to two are included in the pitch price, and there is a separate exercise field, though they must be on a lead in the main site. The shower block has three wet rooms, one of them accessible, plus a washing-up room and a laundry. You can pay extra to have a private shower room to yourselves. The park sits on the Three Castles Walk, with Skenfrith, Grosmont and White Castle all within reach, and country inns and restaurants are dotted around the area.

The park closes for the winter and reopens in spring; the owners take bookings for the following year in the meantime.
