Black Mountain View is a small touring and camping park on a smallholding on the Powys and Herefordshire border, between Clyro and Bronydd on the A438. Hay-on-Wye is about a mile and a half away, Offa's Dyke Path is a short walk, and the River Wye is close for coarse fishing.

Pitches are level, with electric hook-up close by and some large hardstanding pitches for vans and awnings. The heated toilet and shower block has free hot showers, a disabled and family room with baby changing, a dog walking area and free Wi-Fi. Charcoal barbecues are fine on the blocks provided, but campfires and fire pits are not allowed.

Three static caravans, sleeping four to six, can be rented by the night or week from April to the end of September. The park is busy during Hay Festival in late May, when prices are by phone and payments are non-refundable.
