River Cabin is a one-bedroom stone cottage in an old cider orchard on the Wye, between Brecon, Builth Wells and Hay-on-Wye. It sleeps two comfortably, three with the sofa bed, and runs on rooftop solar with its own spring water.
The same orchard has three camping pitches that can be added to a booking, taking the group up to six. Campers use the garden's fire pit and BBQ. One well-behaved dog is welcome in the enclosed garden for a cleaning charge.
The Wye Valley Walk passes the door, cycle route 8 is across the suspension bridge, and the T4 bus stops outside. Guests arriving by bus, on foot or by bike get a 10% discount.
