  • Dogs welcome

This Hillandale park is mostly holiday homes, but it keeps a field of electric touring and camping pitches, both hardstanding and grass, and one shepherd's hut called Noddfa. It sits on the edge of Hay-on-Wye in Powys, an easy stroll from the bookshops and about ten minutes' walk from the Hay Festival site, which is why late May is the busiest and dearest time.

There is a washroom block with an indoor pot-wash area including a dishwasher, wifi, and dogs are welcome (a few breeds are barred). Pitches are priced for three occupants with electric hook-up, and a small tent for up to two people has its own lower rate. The park is open from March to the end of November.
