Lakeside Caravan Park
Camping, touring and hire caravans beside Llangorse Lake in the Brecon Beacons, with a cafe, bar, shop, free showers and lake hire on site.
See all 9 photos- Some dogs
Lakeside is a long-running park on the edge of Llangorse Lake, the largest natural lake in South Wales, inside the Brecon Beacons National Park. There are grass pitches for tents, with or without electric, and a number of hardstanding pitches with hook-up for caravans and motorhomes. The park also lets out static caravans, a three-bedroom type that sleeps six and a two-bedroom type that sleeps four.
On site there is a small shop at reception, a cafe open early March to late October, and a bar that runs weekends and school holidays. Canoes, paddleboards, rowing boats and pedalos can be hired for the lake, and water-skiing is allowed with the right insurance and club membership. Showers are free. Dogs are welcome on camping pitches (two maximum) but not in the hire caravans, and there is a common next door for walking them.
