The Plume of Feathers is a pub in the middle of Princetown, high on Dartmoor, and the camping is simple overnight space behind it: up to 75 grass tent pitches and room for around ten motorhomes. There are no electric hook-ups, but there is a separate shower block, a communal washing-up area and a waste disposal point.

Barbecues are not allowed because of the fire risk on the moor. The pub itself serves food and drinks, though it is shut Monday to Wednesday, so check hours before relying on it. Upstairs in the main building is a bunkhouse with four four-bed rooms and a two-bed room, with shared bathrooms and a shared kitchen. Bring your own bedding.
