Harford Bridge sits on the western edge of Dartmoor, about two and a half miles from Tavistock, with the River Tavy running along one side. Touring and camping pitches are mostly level grass, split between riverside spots, a wooded copse and open parkland, with a block of shale hardstandings (some fully serviced) for caravans and motorhomes. Pitches are numbered and allocated at check-in unless you pay to request a particular one.

The park is a mixed one. Alongside the pitches there are three 18ft tipis with log burners and camp beds, a shepherd's hut, escape pods, prestige holiday caravans and a larger house, bookable all year. Campers get free hot showers, a games room, play park, free tennis court and a four-acre meadow where dogs can run off the lead. Wi-Fi costs extra on camping pitches. A bus stop for the Tavistock to Okehampton route is 200 yards away and National Cycle Route 27 passes the park.
