Harlings is a working farm on the Bere Peninsula, in the Tamar Valley National Landscape, about six miles from Tavistock and a mile and a half from Bere Alston station. The camping pitches take tents, caravans and campervans, with a limit of two adults and two children or three adults per pitch, and the pitches are spaced at least six metres apart.

The site was designed to be wheelchair accessible, with accessible toilets and showers, and has free Wi-Fi, a shared fridge and freezer, phone charging, a chemical toilet and grey waste point and a motorhome service point. It is aimed at people with dogs: well-behaved dogs on leads are welcome, and a six-foot-fenced field can be hired for off-lead sessions. A farm shop and cafe were planned to open in 2026 (the cafe is already listed with opening hours). Avoid Denham Bridge on the way in if you are towing, as it is too narrow for caravans.

  • Step-free site with accessible toilets and showers
  • Secure fenced field to hire for off-lead dog time
  • Firepits available with a pit pack
  • Free Wi-Fi and phone charging points
