Cheesewring Farm

Small family farm campsite on Bodmin Moor at Minions, with five caravan bays, ten tent pitches, fire pit hire and four holiday cottages.

  • Dogs welcome
  • Campfires

Cheesewring Farm sits at the edge of Bodmin Moor above Minions, with open-access moorland straight from the gate and views over the Tamar and Lynher valleys. The campsite is a single level acre of grass with five caravan and motorhome bays (some on hardstanding) and ten tent pitches, five of them with electric hook-up. The family says it is registered with the Camping and Caravanning Club for five vans plus ten tents.

There is a toilet and shower block with an accessible shower and toilet, a separate cabin with a kettle, microwave, fridge, freezer and washing-up, and a washing machine on a charge. Up to three well-behaved dogs stay free, fire pits can be hired, and the farm sells eggs and seasonal produce. The family also lets four converted-barn cottages next door.

  • Direct access to Bodmin Moor from the site
  • Up to three dogs free
  • Fire pits to hire, with a bag of logs
  • Food-prep cabin with fridge, freezer and microwave
