Poole Farm is a small members-only certificated location on the Devon and Cornwall border beside the River Tamar, run by the owners who also offer a bed and breakfast and a holiday cottage. The ground is just under an acre with hardstanding pitches, each with 16 amp electric hook-up, drinking water and room for an awning.
A small hut holds a toilet and shower and an information area, and there is laundry, recycling, wifi included in the pitch fee and a dog walk next to the site. It is for adults aged 16 and over; dogs are welcome on a lead. The narrow approach lane is why arrivals are asked for after 2pm, and the lanes and riverbanks around are good for walking and cycling, with Dartmoor, Bodmin Moor and Roadford Lake nearby.
