Tinhay Retreats is a retreat centre in a river valley near Lifton, close to the Cornish border, with a small campsite on level, hedged grass. It takes up to five caravans or motorhomes and ten tents, trailer tents or folding campers.

Facilities are modest: spring water, a flush toilet, a shower in a converted horsebox, a washing-up sink and phone charging in the new wash block, and a disposal point for chemical toilets. The site is marked as a quiet Hideaway, has no street lighting, and welcomes pets. It is exclusively for Camping and Caravanning Club members.
