Tavistock Club Site is a spacious, sheltered site at Higher Longford on the western side of Dartmoor National Park, about two miles from Tavistock. It takes tents, caravans, motorhomes, trailer tents and roof tents, and has grass, hardstanding and super service pitches. Grass-only pitches slope and are not suited to motorhomes or campervans.
National Cycle Route 274 is about 200 yards away and the site is in a dark sky area, so lighting is kept low at night. There are two large enclosed dog walks, a shop, laundry and a washing-up area. Narrow lanes around the villages mean you should ignore the sat nav and use the Club's approach instructions.
