Camp De Lank is a deliberately small site on the edge of Bodmin Moor, with just fifteen large grass pitches for tents, campervans and roof tents, plus two bell tents each on their own generous plot. You pick your own pitch on arrival and text them which one you have chosen, and you park beside your tent. Views run out over open countryside, and there is little around to spoil the dark skies.

The extras are what set it apart: a wood-fired sauna you pay for by the session, a children's play area, free-to-borrow fire pits with logs on an honesty box, and ice pack freezing and battery pack charging for the fridge-less. Dogs are welcome on the pitches (not in the bell tents) and there is a field to walk them in. Padstow, Polzeath, Port Isaac and Tintagel are all around half an hour away, and the Camel Trail is close enough for a day on bikes.
