Harford is a working farm inside Dartmoor National Park, a mile and a half from Ivybridge, with the camping field set in semi-woodland. Expect the odd sheep, chicken or peacock wandering through. Tent pitches are non-electric grass, and one car, one gazebo, one awning and one pup tent are included in the pitch price.

If you would rather not bring a tent, there are camping pods, a cabin and a hobbit pod that sleep four to six with shared toilets and showers nearby, plus two safari tents with en-suites, log burners and wood-fired hot tubs. Dogs are welcome on leads, and small firepits and raised barbecues are allowed.
