Mount Folly Farm is a working organic farm a short walk from Bigbury beach, and the campsite is exactly what the owners call it: a scenic field with toilets, washbasins, showers and a limited number of electric hook-ups. Pitches are not pre-booked, you choose your spot when you arrive, and pay per person rather than per pitch.

The coast path runs right past, and the site is a listed stop for walkers, with showers and facilities open round the clock. There is a strict no radios or speakers rule. Dogs are allowed on leads with a few breeds treated cautiously. For something softer there are three furnished geo domes, and a separate camping barn in Bigbury village sleeping 16 with a wood-fired hot tub and sauna.
