Holsome Park is a working family farm outside Diptford, between Totnes and Kingsbridge. The camping field is flat grass with most pitches left unmarked, so you pick your own spot; only the electric hook-up pitches are fixed. Pitches are about 8m square including guy ropes, and bigger tents need two.

It only opens in the summer, from July through to early September. There is a toilet and shower block, a covered washing-up area with shared fridges and freezers, a phone charging point and a family room. Kids can swing and slide, feed the chickens and collect eggs in the morning, and the farm sells its own meat, eggs and bacon. Fire pits and raised barbecues are fine, and well-behaved dogs are welcome on a lead. Bell tents can also be hired for stays of three nights or more.
