Woodlands Grove sits next to the Woodlands Family Theme Park outside Blackawton, a short drive from Dartmouth. Tent campers choose between terraced pitches and a more informal area among the trees; caravans, motorhomes and campervans can have all-weather or grass pitches, with or without a 10 amp hook-up. A mix of hardstanding and grass is on offer, and pitch sizes suit most rigs.

The main draw is that any stay of two nights or more includes entry to the theme park next door, on arrival day, every day and the day you leave. Rides, a zoo farm and a falconry centre are all covered, with only crazy golf and some seasonal extras charged. On site there is a general store, an evening takeaway, games room, a dog walking field, central toilet and shower blocks and a caravan storage compound. Besides pitches there are brand-new glamping pods for up to six and fully equipped holiday caravans for six or eight.

Dogs are welcome on pitches and in a few selected pods, but not in the theme park, where there are on-site kennels. The static caravans do not take dogs.
