Karrageen sits in a valley of National Trust coast on the southern tip of Devon, about a mile from the sand at Hope Cove and four miles from Salcombe. There are around 70 pitches over two fields: a terraced, tree-lined main field with many level pitches, hook-ups and spring-water taps, and a smaller sloping caravan field with five hook-up pitches. In peak weeks a Top Field opens too, set further from the toilets but with a clear view out to sea.

The shop at reception is licensed and sells groceries, local meat and dairy, and bakes bread, baguettes and croissants each morning. The toilet block was rebuilt in 2014 with solar heating, and has a family and accessible shower room. There is no bar, club or children's playground. Water comes from the farm's own spring, so showers and hot washing-up water are 20p. Dogs are welcome on leads, and the park lets a couple of two-bedroom static caravans by the week (no pets).
