Levenwick Campsite belongs to the village hall and is run by volunteers, on a raised patch of grass looking over the sandy beach at Levenwick Bay in the south of Shetland's Mainland. There are 12 tent pitches and 6 touring pitches. It is unmanned: a board shows which pitch you have booked, and a warden calls by most afternoons or evenings.
The washroom block has two toilets, a separate shower room (coins needed) and a family/accessible toilet and shower, plus a covered seating area, an outside sink, a waste disposal point, and a small room with laundry and a simple kitchen. A community garden just below is good for birdwatching, and the dark skies are good for stargazing. The village shop is half a mile downhill and the nearest fuel is at Dunrossness.
