This is a 90-pitch site on the seafront at John O'Groats, next to the brewery and pub at the end of the A99. Motorhomes, caravans, campervans and tents all use it, and from the field you look across the Pentland Firth to Stroma and the Orkney islands, with seals often in the water.
There are plenty of hook-ups, some hardstanding, eight showers, a disabled toilet, a laundrette with drying area and WiFi. The village store, post office, cafes and the harbour boat trips are a short walk away. Tents don't need to book but should arrive before 5pm; vans and anyone wanting electric should book ahead.
