See all 7 photosThe Old Mart is a small holding on the edge of Thornhill in Nithsdale with chickens, horses and sheep, and a handful of hardstanding bays set aside for motorhomes and campervans. Every bay has access to fresh water, black and grey waste disposal and bins; electric hook-up is an upgrade.
The site runs on septic tanks so only green chemicals can be tipped. Thornhill's shops, pubs and restaurants are a short walk, Drumlanrig Castle is about ten minutes by car, and there is river fishing nearby. Booking is advised as there are few bays.
