This is the Camping and Caravanning Club's site on the edge of the Victorian spa town of Moffat in the Scottish Lowlands, close to the M74. It has grass and hardstanding pitches, with and without electric, plus jumbo grass pitches for big units, and takes tents, caravans, motorhomes, trailer tents and rooftop tents.
The site has a motorhome service point, laundry, a shop and a designated dog walk. The town centre with its shops, pubs and museum is about five minutes on foot, the River Annan walks start nearby, and the Grey Mare's Tail waterfall and the hike up to Loch Skeen are a short drive away. The Club warns that access is difficult and asks you to follow its safe approach instructions, and that some grass areas are restricted because of poor drainage.
