Dalebottom Farm has been a campsite since 1952 and is still run by the Kitching family. It lies in the Naddle valley, about 2.5 miles south of Keswick on the A591, with the high fells all round and High Rigg and Low Rigg a short stroll away. Castlerigg Stone Circle is within easy reach.
There are 15 electric grass pitches for tents, a large non-electric field where about half the pitches can be pre-booked and the rest are left for people turning up on the day, and hardstanding touring pitches with hook-up. One shower and toilet block serves the site, with shower tokens from reception, hot-water washing up and a chemical disposal point.
Away from the pitches there are four static caravans (two newer premium vans and two older classic ones) and an 18th-century cottage that lets all year. The site has a 10.30pm noise cut-off and does not take party groups. Its published prices are from the 2025 season, so check the current rates when you book.

- Open pitches with BBQs and raised fire pits allowed
