See all 9 photosTom's Field has been taking campers in the Isle of Purbeck for over sixty years and keeps things simple: stone-walled fields, basic facilities and a very good shop on site. It takes tents and motorhomes only, not caravans.
Some fields look out to Swanage Bay and the Purbeck hills, others are sheltered. The village of Langton Matravers, with a pub serving food, is a few minutes' walk, and a footpath reaches the coast path near Dancing Ledge in about twenty minutes. There are no lights around the fields, so bring a torch. There are two EV charging points, some electric hook-ups, a bunk barn for groups by arrangement and breakfasts at some times of year.
