Studland Summer Camp

Long-running naturist tent campsite on the Isle of Purbeck, open for two short seasons a year, close to Studland's naturist beach.

  • Dogs welcome

Studland Summer Camp, known as SSC, is a simple, sloping tent field on the Isle of Purbeck that has welcomed naturists for decades. It is deliberately basic: no electric hookup, no glamping, and tents only, with only small van-conversion campers accepted by arrangement. Adults are expected to be naturist when the weather allows, and the site is relaxed and family friendly.

Facilities are hot showers, flushing toilets, a washing-up station, a chemical toilet emptying point, recycling bins and a fridge and freezer for small items and ice blocks, all included in the pitch fee. Swanage, Corfe and Studland's naturist beach are close by. The site opens for a late-spring fortnight around the May bank holiday and a longer summer season from late July.
