The Plassey is a 250-acre estate in the Dee Valley, a few miles from Wrexham, run as a leisure complex as much as a campsite. The touring area has 30 deluxe and 24 premium pitches, all on gravel hardstanding with 16-amp electric, a water tap, waste water outlet and TV aerial points. Standard pitches are cheaper, and the ones at Spring Meadow are extra large.

Guests get a free heated indoor pool, a children's adventure playground, a games room, table tennis and badminton. There is a nine-hole golf course with a driving range, five coarse fishing ponds for guests (bring your own licence and tackle), two miles of nature trails and a dog exercise area. An old farm steading houses more than twenty craft and gift shops, and there is a clubhouse bar, a pub and restaurant and a coffee shop on site.

Away from the touring pitches the park also has owner-occupied holiday homes, studio lodges and safari tents with private hot tubs, and a secure storage compound for caravans and motorhomes.
